Last night i got a call from my childhood friend, 25, doctor, happily married to NRI, very practical, agony aunt for all of us.
Problem: She wants to contact her ex-boyfriend.
Last month I was visiting Cal I met this other friend of mine: 25, housewife, happily married to a millionaire, blessed with a cute kid. Country hopping is just one of her favourite pass times.
Problem: She wants to contact her ex...
Okay probably the second is just bored but the first one took me by surprise and I wondered what is it about the X factor that keeps us hooked on...
Old flames die hard but its just not that, probably when you look back, you realise that things which looked highly magnified in the past (and caused the break-up)might not seem that big a deal now.
And then you think of the happier times in the past and it makes you want to be with the person again. And also in hindsight, you were probably much better of before than after you decided to move on.
Or probably you just never let it go...
Some say love is holding on
Some say letting go
Some say love is everything
Some say they don't know...The X Factor is what lies beneath till YOU bring it up!
