Silver lining...
Clouds come floating into my life, no longer to carry rain or usher storm, but to add colour to my sunset sky.
Rabindranath Tagore
Someone once told me if you want a rainbow in your life you will have to put up with the rain. Once you have been through a stage in life when everything is going downhill, when all you can do is just watch everything slip through your fingers like sand and there's a dead end wherever you turn.
You just look up and ask God, "Father ...Oh father! why have you forsaken me?" And you wonder is there really a God above who is allowing you to go through this? And you still don't get any answers.
I wish I was as strong a believer as my dad. It surprises me to see him go through the most acute crisis by putting his faith on the Almighty. I might not be very religious but I would like to think of myself as a believer, the faith waivers every now and then. No matter how much I try to, I cannot but question HIM every now and then.
But at the moment I want to believe, i want to singa and praise God and say 'Hallelujah'...He makes all things beautiful in HIS time.
Everytime that I asked myself last year, why me God? Why me? I knew that someone somewhere was asking the same thing. There was this forgettable Hindi movie, Is raat ki subah nahi but it had a nice song...
Tere mere naam naye hai
Yeh dard purana hai...
No matter how new the pain seems, someone somewhere has been through worse...
Only when you have gone through a stage when you stand to lose nothing, only when you feel the warm trickle of tears and nothing but nothing seems to work...just hold on, there's a God above, there's a way out and there's a light at the end of the tunnel...
